Responsibilities:

• Custody for leading the manager research and selection framework within hedge funds and private markets
• Lead strategy for commercial growth of the firm's private markets business.??
• Identify funds/manager opportunities in the light of strategy trends and investor sentiment
• Manage the pipeline of existing funds by maintaining positive partnerships and monitoring compliance from an IDD perspective
• Produce summary documents to report on funds performance
• Implement sales and client feedback into the research and selection strategy
• Produce thought leadership pieces and white papers to support and provide actionable content to sales and marketing teams on existing funds, market opportunities and macro topics
• Participate in driving product strategy by developing the investment research practice and capabilities??

Requirements:

• Undergraduate Degree??
• CFA/MSc/CAIA or similar??
• 15+ years?? industry experience
• ??Previous experience of manager selection or manager research at an asset manager, Investment Consultant or similar (with a focus on Private Markets)
• Excellent understanding of the private markets landscape and leading funds in the space.
• Strong technical knowledge of fund management including UCITS, hedge funds, and private markets
• Strong previous experience with investment research and portfolio management??
• Understanding of the broader economic environment and its effect on private markets
• Good senior stakeholder management experience
• Commercially driven with ability to develop business and bring on new partnerships and sell the firm???s proposition
