Job Summary:

Lecturers will teach one or more fall and/or spring session undergraduate or graduate courses in Real
Estate and Urban Land Economics. Courses to be taught may include (but are not necessarily
limited to):
306 - The Real Estate Process

The Lecturer is responsible for course work preparation; classroom instruction; teaching; holding
office hours; grading of homework; and exam preparation, administration and grading under the
general supervision of the Chair of the Department.
Responsibilities: Facilitates classroom, online, and/or laboratory instruction and assists with instructional development and design for a single course or series of courses within an academic discipline to support the delivery of quality instruction. Provides for-credit instruction in formats such as classroom, online and/or laboratory settings, including grading. Serves as an instructor of record.
  • 40% Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance
  • 30% Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction
  • 10% Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations
  • 20% Engages in student advising and counseling outside the classroom.

Master's Degree
MBA or MA in Real Estate or related degree
Qualifications:

5 years of experience in Real Estate or related field.

This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.

Terminal, 9 month appointment.
This position has the possibility to be extended or converted to an ongoing appointment based on need and/or funding
