Reports to UC Group CFO Classification: Full-Time Exempt
Purpose of Job:
To manage a team and lead all credit and collections activities, while partnering with business to support the customer, growth and drive working capital improvements.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Manage team of 3-5 Collectors
Manage small portfolio of accounts
Facilitate new customer onboarding
Analyzes credit data to identify the degree of risk involved in extending credit
Peer leadership across operational teams
Lead credit related projects as needed
Facilitate Dispute/Deduction management process
Develop and implement collections strategies
Promote growth and development of team
Performs other duties as assigned
High school diploma (or GED)
Minimum 2+ years of credits earned toward bachelor’s degree in Business
3-5 years of related B2B Credit/Collections experience with demonstrated leadership (direct or peer)
Excellent interpersonal and customer (internal/external) service skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate
Intermediate or higher skills with Microsoft Office Suite (primary need is Excel)
Flexible and able to pivot when priorities change
High acumen in technology
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Results driven and collaborative leadership style
Additional Salary Information: Salary dependent on experience.
