Bayview Asset Management is seeking to hire a senior level, commercial real estate appraiser to join their valuation team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic company where you will participate in the decision making process of our CMBS and portfolio lending, B-piece acquisition, and portfolio acquisition lines of business.

 

Candidate will be responsible for; estimating value on a wide variety of property types and sizes (from small commercial to large CMBS assets) for internal decision making purposes; assist in loan underwriting; perform portfolio due diligence; market research; and site inspections. Some travel is required.

A competitive salary and a comprehensive benefit package is available. Candidate may work remotely from a home office or from one of our many office locations in FL, NY, PA, NC, TX and AZ.

Candidate must have a State Certified General Real Estate License; excellent verbal and written communication skills; be detail-oriented; and a self-starter with the ability to manage a variety of assignments. Candidate must be proficient with Excel, Word, and discounted cash flow models.

A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of seven to ten years of commercial real estate appraisal experience are required, an MAI or advanced candidate is preferred. Hotel experience is also preferred.
