Job Description Title: Project Manager - Index Governance Grade: 12 Location: New York, Open to remote workers within the US The Role: As Index Governance Operations Project Management Lead, you will be responsible for leading efforts to drive the index methodology consultation process. This highly visible role will be on the Index Governance Operations team within Index Governance. This position will interface with the Index Management & Production Group, Index Committees, Index Intelligence, Product Management, and R&D to lead project groups and ensure consultations are completed according to S&P DJI policies and procedures. Job Duties:
Prepare a project plan to schedule key project milestones, workstreams, and activities
Track project and provide regular reports on project status to key stakeholders
Perform editorial tasks related to consultation document and announcements
Tabulate and present client consultation feedback to Index Committees
Develop workflows and essential guidelines around the methodology consultation process
Conduct analysis of projects to identify successes and areas for improvement
Experience & Skills:
A good communicator with ability to facilitate issue resolution
Ability to work in an environment that could change often and with potential for quick deadlines
Good time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once
Proactive with leadership skills, ability to collaborate with other teams
General understanding of indices
Excellent editorial skills
Possess soft skills for delegation and escalation
Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel
Experience working as a project manager
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only): S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $135,000 to $165,00. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
