About our client
We are working with a highly regarded European software and services investor that is seeking to recruit a Responsible Investment Specialist to join its ESG team. The role will be based in London.
What the job involves
  • Reporting to the Head of Responsible Investment, you will be a part of the team tasked with delivering the firms strategic ESG initiatives
  • Leading the reporting of the firms ESG progress to its stakeholders
  • Supporting ESG events across the portfolio internally, including the annual ESG summit
  • Responding to investor questionnaires and participating in client meetings
  • Maintaining reporting platforms across the portfolio companies
  • Supporting the firms ESG compliance journey, with a focus on SFDR and TCFD
  • Involvement in portfolio specific ESG projects to improve and drive change across the portfolio
Who we are looking for
  • Good knowledge and experience of ESG, with experience of supporting the implementation of ESG strategies or experience from external reporting on ESG related matters
  • A passion for responsible investment and ESG, with both a personal and professional interest and a desire to drive change
  • Understanding of ESG related topics and approaches to ESG integration within the private equity industry
  • A positive mindset and the desire to be challenged, with a willingness to think in a commercial, innovative, and pragmatic way
  • Ability to work across teams and build good relationships with a variety of stakeholders - both internal and external
