The Senior Acquisitions Associate at Lionstone Investments is responsible for assisting Market Coverage Officers in evaluating and acting on real estate investments across the firm's investments strategies.
Responsibilities
??? Assist market coverage officers in researching select real estate markets and market niches to delineate investment themes and targets ??? Leadership over the entire process from underwriting to closing select investment opportunities for office, multi-family, hotel, retail and mixed-use real estate opportunities in assigned markets ??? Prepare and present Underwriting Committee and Investment Committee recommendations ??? Negotiate transaction documents, manage debt placement, and perform due diligence on new investments ??? Associates will lead communications between members of the acquisitions, portfolio management, asset management teams to close transactions and transition to Asset Management.
Required Qualifications
??? Bachelor's degree required. 5-7 years of real estate finance or acquisitions experience ??? Experience with complex financial modeling / strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ARGUS required ??? Demonstrated interest in the real estate industry ??? Ability to operate independently, in small deal teams and with a large amount of individual responsibility ??? Entrepreneurial mindset, with a demonstrated willingness to take on tasks across the full range of responsibilities ??? Strong written and verbal communication skills ??? Unquestioned integrity and the highest ethical standards
