State Street is seeking a full-time Java developer to support the Trade Processing Systems Team in our Irvine, CA office. The candidate will be responsible for development of various Transaction Processing Applications for our monthly software releases.

??? Collaborate with analyst and business teams to solution complex business problems
??? Development, maintenance and monitoring of core trade processing systems
??? Creation of technical specifications
??? Creation and execution of test cases

??? Solid experience in full software development cycle, including application architecture, technical specs, analysis, software development, testing large-scale software applications, assisting SQA teams with UAT testing, production support.
??? Excellent verbal and written communications are required.
??? Exceptional interpersonal communication and strong team collaboration skills.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
??? The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Software Engineer in enterprise software development.
??? Experience with J2EE technologies (JPA, EJB, MDB, MQ).
??? Server-side Java skills with at least one J2EE application server (GlassFish, JBOSS or similar).
??? Experience building user interfaces in ReactJS (Angular or similar JavaScript framework would be ok too).
??? Core Java experience including multithreading, JDBC and JMS.
??? RDBMS SQL experience (Sybase & SQL Server preferred), well versed in freehand SQL, indexes and performance tuning.
??? Unix and Unix shell scripting.
??? Familiar with unit testing frameworks.
??? Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker or other CMS is a plus.
??? Experience in the financial industry is a plus.
