Team & Role: Syndications is responsible for providing loan market expertise throughout all business lines and sits under BNY Mellon's Credit Services umbrella, led by the Chief Lending Officer. The Syndications team partners with business line professionals to provide credit to some of BNY Mellon's largest clients, with day-to-day responsibilities ranging from structuring multi-bank, multi-hundreds of millions/billion-dollar credit facilities to guiding pricing and providing distribution options for portfolio managers.
Responsible for originating, pricing, structuring and distributing multi-bank real estate and investment grade credit facilities for key BNY Mellon clients.
Act as the primary syndications professional for all assigned clients and prospects. The incumbent is expected to successfully negotiate credit documentation with the company/sponsor and syndicate members.
Manages the sales process for all assigned credit facilities in syndication. The incumbent coordinates with the Institutional Lender, Client Executive and Credit Risk/Legal personnel to answer all due diligence inquiries regarding assigned syndicated loans.
Establish and maintain relationships with primary and secondary loan market investors and thoroughly understand their appetites.
Execute secondary buys/sells as directed.
The successful candidate will demonstrate/possess:
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
5-7 years of total work experience with a particular focus in institutional lending, syndications, capital markets, sales or credit analysis preferred.
