We are looking for a passionate frontend software engineer to join our Oncore UI team and work on latest, exciting UI technologies and frameworks to deliver best in class cloud platform UI. We are working in a Hybrid/Flexible work environment.
What you'll do:
Serving as a core member of an agile team that leads user story analysis and elaboration, designs and develops software applications.
Responsible for the applications architecture, work/coordinate with other team's architect, engineers and vendors as necessary.
Writing code and unit tests, automation, and conducting code reviews and testing.
Identifying exciting opportunities for adopting new technologies to solve existing needs and predicting future challenges.
Performing ongoing refactoring of code, utilizing visualization and other techniques to fast track concepts, and delivering continuous improvement.
Manage your own time, and work well both independently and as part of a team.
Quickly generate and updating proof of concepts for testing and team feedback.
Embrace emerging standards while promoting best practices.
5-7 years of relevant experience.
Must have experience in using Version Controls like Git and Tools like Jira forth Agile methodologies.
Expertise with using RESTful APIs is preferred.
Understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
Thorough understanding of JSON, Web Service technologies, and data structure fundamentals.
Experience with adaptive and responsive development techniques.
Aptitude for learning and applying programming concepts.
Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external business partners.
A client first mindset and comfortable working within Agile methodologies in a cross-functional, collaborative and distributed team environment

Asset Servicing business provides global solutions tailored to meet our clients' unique needs to manage, administer, and oversee their entire portfolio and deliver the tools they need to expand their ability to process, monitor, and measure investment data from around the world.
Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or at least 5 years of equivalent work experience required. Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
