Business Function
Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibilities
  • Consolidate Operations COO Financials & Budget, evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual vs budget/forecast.
  • Provide analysis of trends/forecast and recommend action for management review/decision.
  • Partner with Group Finance and Operations teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Identify, ideate, and drive process improvements, including creation of Financial Control Tower together with Data & Insights team.
  • Execute on group/country-wide resource management and financial initiatives and projects, such as the Strategic Workforce Planning and Strategic Cost Management initiatives and driving it within the department and across Operations COO teams.
  • Manage Strategic Initiative &Data (SID) financials, including working with stakeholders to analyse financial data (through expense management, bookkeeping and budgeting/forecast) to draw out and showcase accurate financial insights for management consumption and decision making.
Requirements
  • Degree holder preferably Accounting trained with minimum 5-8 years of professional experience in Finance, program management & governance work experience.
  • Detail oriented and able to draw insights from data and good at collation of large data sets via Excel.
  • Ability to navigate in a complex environment, work in ambiguity and achieve outcome.
  • Business knowledge or prior experience in banking would be advantageous.
  • Self-starter, good communication and presentation skill.
  • Experience with or proficiency in Tableau software (preferred).
  • Experience in delivering complex initiatives working with both cross functional stakeholders across business.
