The Senior Financial Advisor is a high-level and highly-experienced advisor position appointed to work within one or a group of franchises. This position requires demonstrated competence in the areas of financial advisory products, client service, business operations and workflow as well as a thorough understanding of the client base and market potential. The Senior Advisor will work along-side the primary advisor to develop and deliver an overarching client service, retention and acquisition plan that continues to elevate the practice, especially with an upscale market.
This position will consistently follow high standards of business and professional ethics and legal and regulatory requirements when dealing with others and/or performing work activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial advising - Senior advisor will be assigned a book of clients to service, sell, and grow. All duties align with that of a financial advisor at a senior, tenured level of skills, experience, and expertise. Along with servicing a book, this advisor is considered a growth advisor with client acquisition being equal to client retention.
Primary Advisor Proxy - Senior advisor will assume the proxy role of the primary advisor in his/her absence, responding to client inquiries, service requests, concerns, or needs - acting with empowerment on behalf of the primary advisor (if advisor is not reachable within 2-3 hours or in emergencies)
Insurance sales - Senior advisor, when also an insurance specialist, will also assist in insurance administration, presentation and tracking for self, primary advisor, and for other financial advisors, as needed. If insurance is not their specialty, they will develop a specialty in a niche that is complementary to the practice.
Comprehensive advice and financial planning - Senior advisor will excel at creating, analyzing, and delivering comprehensive advice through financial plans for individual, family, trust, and business owners. They will excel at delivering a value proposition that positions recurring engagement.
Managed accounts - Senior advisor will excel at developing client relationship in fee-based managed accounts that provide recurring revenue to the practice, while supplementing GDC growth through transactional business.
Prospecting/ client acquisition - Senior advisor will be confident and competent in driving leads to the practice, developing a solid pipeline, and acquiring new upscale clients, especially targeting the 500K to 5M target market.
Client contact - Senior advisor will align with the practices' client experience and client service models delivering a consistent and effective client contact strategy based on segmentation.
