My client is one of the leading investment banks with a major presence in the APAC region. They are now seeking to hire a Senior Developer in the Fixed Income team mainly delivering projects for the business, which is significantly growing in Asia.

The candidate will be working to help further develop the company???s E-Trading, Booking and Risk infrastructure. They would be able to take ownership of projects and provide software solutions to meet customers??? needs.

Role:

• Identifying problems by interacting with the engineering teams and business users
• Engaging users to understand business requirements and context
• Work to quantify existing capacity and future capacity requirements

??

Requirements:

• 8+ years of hands-on Java or C++ software development experience, working knowledge in Linux
• Proficient in back-end design and development; also, in designing and deploying mission critical infrastructure software that runs in a real-time, multi-threaded environment
• Experienced in supporting distributed systems in a highly complex, fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development and automated testing (e.g JUnit, Mockito, Selenium)
• Able to manage work and mentor junior developers ??? including planning deliverables in a structured manner
• Good English communication skills
