Job Description:

Will advise and support all aspects of tax and structuring for our investment fund. The candidate will liaise with the firm???s partners and outside tax counsel and review organizational structure and tax positions on a quarterly basis with the firm???s management. A strong working knowledge of tax, corporate, partnership, and other private markets??? law is required. ??

Your responsibilities will include:

????????????????????Research and form complex organizational structures; Draft, review and negotiate private fund limited partnership agreements and associated agreements.

????????????????????Ensure compliance with all applicable securities and tax laws and regulations regarding specialized fund offerings.

????????????????????Understanding tax sensitivities.

????????????????????Collaboratively coordinate with internal key stakeholders across the firm.

????????????????????Advise on new relevant tax developments

????????????????????Other projects and tasks as they arise from time to time

Qualifications

????????????????????Juris Doctorate from an accredited U.S. law school and licensed to practice in at least one state

????????????????????5+ years of experience practicing tax law

????????????????????Strong communication and presentation skills

????????????????????Strong interpersonal skills and a positive work ethic

????????????????????Proven analytical and organizational skills with the ability to handle projects from inception to conclusion

????????????????????The candidate must be available for occasional travel??
