As a Barclays Settlement Analyst, you will be responsible for researching customer facing payments cases, identifying the fix and in many cases the subsequent financial remediation required. You will also be investigating high priority customer complaints, providing root cause analysis and preventative measures to ensure customer complaints are resolved in a timely manner. You will be responsible for all the research associated with the customer complaints and engaging with internal departments that may facilitate the research work.

What will you be doing?
??? Managing a high volumes of customer inquiry cases related to payments, balance transfers, convenience check and refund/rewards ??? Ensuring timely and accurate completion of daily functions, including rejected and returned payments ??? Identifying service delivery failures and escalating issues/impacts to management as required ??? You will be helping resolve customer complaints raised to OTP or other regulatory bodies ??? Adhering to monthly productivity metrics ??? Researching and resolving customers' Balance Transfer, Payment and CBR inquiries ??? Ensuring all SLAs are adhered to along with Reg Z requirements
What we're looking for:
??? Degree in Business, Finance or Related field / or equivalent work experience ??? Previous experience working in payments and managing customer inquiries
Skills that will help you in the role:
??? Knowledge of TSYS and other customer applications ??? Understanding of accounting for credit card related transactions ??? PC skills and experience of using Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Access and Word
