Cardinal Pointe Financial Group, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC, is looking for an experienced full-time Trader/Paraplanner for their office located at 408 Blankenbaker Parkway, Louisville, KY 40243. This position supports all advisors on our team. It is a fulltime, non-exempt position working from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Responsibilities
Process trades/transactions based on specified time requirements: Stocks, Options, ETFs, Bonds, Mutual Funds, Model Portfolios, Annuities, Money Movement, Distributions, Systematic Payouts, Systematic Arrangements, Direct Deposit, ACH, etc. Consult with advisor to ensure trading instructions are clear prior to being entered and verify that all trades/transactions were processed correctly by Home Office. Process trade corrections as needed.
Required Qualifications
The individual must have five years' experience as a dedicated trader with a financial services firm. A college degree, Series 7, 66 and Life & Health licenses are required. Knowledge of the trading platform, Thomson One, is preferred but not required. The qualified candidate must be professional, dependable, and works well in a team environment. Proficient technology skills are needed for the role (Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Box, etc.).
