Integra’s common stock is listed on The NASDAQ Stock Market under the symbol “IART.” SUMMARY DESCRIPTION The Corporate ESG & Risk Analyst is responsible for supporting the Senior Director ESG and Risk Management in the development, execution, and administration of risk management programs as well as to support the development, implementation, administration of Integra’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) activities. ESG consists of the following areas: - Assisting with the development, implementation and management of Integra’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy, goals and KPIs, in partnership with businesses and functions and working collaboratively to track and monitor progress of workplans, drive awareness and communicate results.
- Assist with producing ESG reports and other mandatory disclosures as well as shareholder correspondence and other shareholder-facing materials.
Risk Management consists of the following areas: - Insurance Placement: Compiling renewal application submission information and exposure data, preparing renewal submissions, evaluating quotes, and subsequent administration of policies.
- Claims Management: Evaluate potential claims, determine applicable policies, collect information needed on incidents, file claims, and interface with insurer, TPAs, and internal functions/businesses to adjudicate claims to a successful resolution.
- Contract Review: Review contracts submitted by Legal, and functions and businesses for compliance with acceptable risk insurance language, ensure problematic language is identified and addressed, and participate in negotiation of language with third parties.
- Loss Prevention: Assist with identifying exposures to loss and execution of appropriate risk management processes and systems to eliminate or reduce the impact of such loss
- Crisis Management: This position is also responsible for assisting with the maintenance of Integra’s Crisis Management Plan (CMP) and assisting in the execution of the plan in the event of a crisis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The primary job responsibilities are: ESG - Participate in the oversight of information and data collected from functions and businesses to be used in ESG reporting and assist with maintenance of KPI database
- Work with businesses and functions to update ESG data from year to year
- Assist with the tracking of ESG related external activities including ESG frameworks and standards and ESG rating agency ratings
- Assist with the response and tracking of customer, supplier, and other external requests for ESG data
- Assist with the tracking of ESG trends and regulations through monitoring various external organization
- Assist with the updating of the ESG portion of the Integra website
- Perform other duties as may be assigned
RISK MANAGEMENT INSURANCE PLACEMENT - Assist with the identification of risks associated with Integra’s businesses and products and participate in the development of insurance programs by contrasting knowledge of business exposures to coverage in place and available.
- Collect worldwide exposure data required for renewal submissions including property values, revenue and payroll data, vehicles, and evaluate data for accuracy and for changes from prior submissions. Assist with the collection of detailed information needed to accurately complete lengthy products liability and cyber insurance applications.
- Assist Senior Director with renewal negotiations by participating in pre-renewal strategy sessions with brokers, assisting in the coordination of underwriter meetings, evaluation of quotes, verification of insurance binders and issuance of policies to ensure correct pricing, coverage structure, terms, and conditions.
- Assist with the management of broker, insurer and other vendor relationships and coordinate negotiation and execution of non-disclosure agreements with these third parties.
- Interface with internal functions such as HR, EHS, Quality, Legal, Site Management to implement all risk management processes.
- Maintain all program information and assist with responding to all program inquiries
- Assist with the development of educational materials (i.e., webinars) and participate in presentation of information to businesses and functions
- Assist with the drafting of the annual insurance budget and interface with accounting on expense management throughout year
- Manage monopolistic state WC insurance programs, including renewals, payments and claims activity
- Develop and maintain historical exposure information and all historical policy records
- Oversee and maintain vendor certificate of insurance requirements and records and respond to non-conformance requests for coverage verification.
- Implement changes to insurance programs due to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, verifying accuracy of endorsements and updating of exposure data.
CLAIMS MANAGEMENT - Evaluate potential claims, determine applicable policies, collect information needed to substantiate claim, submit claims, and manage the interface with insurer, TPAs, and internal functions/businesses to adjudicate all claims to a timely and successful resolution. Claim management includes worker’s compensation, general/products liability and automobile liability, marine cargo, and property claims.
- Build, maintain, and manage relationships with claims adjusters, insurers, outside legal counsel, and other claims related parties as necessary.
CONTRACT REVIEW - Review leases, customer, supplier, and other vendor contracts to evaluate appropriateness of wording and assure compliance with insurance and risk management policies
- Assist with the development of standardized insurance language
LOSS PREVENTION - Work with insurers and brokers to develop and analyze loss reports for workers compensation, and other lines of coverage
- Assist with the scheduling of property loss prevention visits to the sites and attend visit closing conferences to document action plans.
- Work with insurer’s database and sites to manage status of recommendations.
- Develop annual report of claims losses
- Work together with business units to support EHS activities, including analysis of claims reports, identification of loss trends and coordination of loss prevention programs offered by insurers
CRISIS MANAGEMENT - Annually assist with the update of Integra’s Crisis Management Plan (CMP) documentation, including contact lists and any required changes.
- Assist with the communication and training on the plan
- Assist with in the execution of the plan in the event of a crisis, as defined by crisis management team, depending on the event. This could include coordination of crisis meetings, dissemination of information, participating in networking with other companies to ensure appropriate flow of critical information to crisis team.
- Assist with the coordination of CMP testing, including tabletop and live exercises of the plan to ensure plan is functioning
- Respond to customer inquiries on CMP readiness and preparing communications to be sent to customers
