The Manager - Investment Products Marketing and Communications is responsible for developing and implementing content strategies (marketing, communication, and training) for investment products (including Alternative investments and Structured products) within Wealth Management Solutions at Ameriprise Financial. This role will support efforts designed to increase awareness, understanding and sales of Wealth Management Solutions with advisors, clients, and sales consulting groups. This position reports to the Sr. Manager - Product Marketing and Communications.

Responsibilities
- Develop content strategies to increase awareness and drive growth of Wealth Management Solutions
- Create content to support investment products initiatives. Work with large cross-functional teams across the organization to ensure alignment and integration.
- Plans, writes and implements content strategies and tactics that support integrated plans. Works individually or with a team to prepare marketing collateral, communications, sales literature, training materials, social media releases, etc.
- Serve as primary liaison with internal partners - legal, compliance, creative services, production services, product development, sales strategy, trading desk, etc.
- Drive measurable program results. Track program participation and results and provide recommendations for improvements, implement approved recommendations quickly across the organization to ensure alignment and integration.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in investments or non-financial product Marketing and Communications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent in a related field
- As a condition of employment in this position, you will be required to hold active FINRA Series 7 or have the ability to obtain it within a 120-day period.
- Strong, demonstrated writing skills -- including content research and audience strategies
- Ability to motivate and influence internal partners
- Demonstrated ability to work as a leader within teams and ability to collaboratively influence others
- Exceptional marketing, communication, training, project management and organizational skills
- Experience in developing and implementing dynamic content strategies
- Familiar with assessing campaign performance and using data to enhance results
- Capable of interacting with variety of individuals cross-organizationally
- A self-starter, solution-focused and be able to work independently
- Shown ability to think fast, respond quickly and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Confirmed ability to prioritize, coupled with strong attention to detail
- Robust knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office products (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Preferred Qualifications
- Solid understanding of investments and/or financial products and services (i.e., advisory solutions, alternative investments, capital markets, retirement plans)
- Knowledge of and experience in positioning alternative investments and structured products.
- Knowledge of design and email marketing automation tools (e.g., Eloqua, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Creative Suite)
