The Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS) is looking for an energetic and passionate individual with a strong desire to implement programs and opportunities aimed at increasing the pipeline of future Certified Public Accountants (CPAs). You will manage scholarships, events, and outreach efforts that recruit college students to join the Illinois CPA Society, encourage students and professionals to pursue their CPA credential, and support them on their journey to become CPAs. You will be responsible for college educator relationships and engagement strategies. You will manage a Specialist who focuses on student and diversity outreach and support. You would be part of a team that supports the pipeline of future CPAs including a manager who focuses on fundraising for our programs and another manager who leads our initiatives to increase diversity in the CPA profession. Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage college student outreach and engagement strategies designed to recruit student members and help people prepare for and pass the CPA exam. Provide direction to enhance outreach strategies, messaging, presentations, and materials. Manage strategy and content for monthly student e-newsletter.
• Evaluate existing programs/strategies designed to influence the decision to become a CPA. Create and implement new programming and/or resources as necessary.
• Monitor developments and information related to the application process, administration, and structure of the CPA exam. Ensure our CPA exam resources are relevant and accurate. Manage relationships with related organizations.
• Oversee the Student Ambassador Program.
• Oversee the Jumpstart to Accounting Program including program goals, content, speakers, implementation, and reporting outcomes.
• Oversee the Virtual Career Fair. Develop a plan to engage employers and job seekers. Manage vendor and employer relationships, booth sales, materials, and event implementation.
• Form relationships and manage initiatives with college accounting educators to encourage and support their students to become CPAs. Provide them with resources, a quarterly newsletter, and an annual meeting.
• Manage the Student/Future CPA yearlong sponsorship program (CPA Exam Awards, Academic Scholarships, and Laptop Scholarships). Oversee sponsor relationships, agreements, and revenue. Ensure sponsor benefits are fulfilled. Serve as primary staff rep on the selection committees. Schedule meetings, prepare agendas and supporting materials, and manage the selection processes. Evaluate program effectiveness.
• Collect and report on the number of new CPA candidates and how many passed the exam and are certified.
• Together with the Specialist, collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and implement promotional messages and resources for web pages, emails, social media, flyers, presentations, contests, and giveaways.
• Together with the Endowment’s Development Manager, prepare student testimonials for fundraising initiatives.
• Administer budget.
