Works with senior management roles to ensure that the appropriate corporate tax policies, methods, standards, processes, reporting, and training are developed, applied, and understood by impacted stakeholders. Extensive knowledge of corporate tax processes and in-depth knowledge of tax support requirements. Extensive tax accounting knowledge to prepare and review quarterly and annual tax filings. Works with tax, legal counsel, and external accounting firms to gather facts and develop strategies and ensure compliance with SOX procedures. Assembles, maintains and analyzes domestic and international tax information used in the preparation of various tax provision calculations. Performs complex research and analysis of the tax law, regulations, and cases to provide senior management with recommendations and opinions by applying tax concepts. Works with management to identify the most relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Oversees, mentors and trains junior tax staff on specific aspects of tax law, tax reporting, accounting, and compliance matters. Bachelor 's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 10-12 years of total work experience in tax accounting preferred.
