GlobalLink is a suite of market-leading e-trading platforms, technology, data and workflow solutions from State Street Corporation.
We are looking for someone to join our team to support the trading of our international client base using our Foreign Exchange, Money Market and ETF trading platforms. Primary responsibility will be to provide application support for our top-tier financial services customers.
Additional responsibilities include monitoring daily operations and to ensure that all deal processing is completed in a timely and controlled manner. The position is client-facing with a strong emphasis on client service and problem resolution.
The ideal candidate must show strong traits including exercising sound judgment, working under pressure in a loud open office environment with a large amount of distractions, prioritizing tasks, identifying potential problems, learning new concepts, following procedures and communicating clearly with clients.
Prospective candidate will be required to have flexibility with shift start/stop time. The new hire will be working the hours between 10am-6pm and required to be physically in the office a minimum of three (3) days a week as part of a hybrid work environment.

What you will be responsible for
As Trade Operations Support - Client Services Representative you will
Handling of all general customer inquiries with regards to FX, MM/ETF trading and matching/settlement services on our proprietary systems. Training clients on system functionality across all product offerings when required by telephone.
Monitoring application and system events and notifying clients of potential problems across all product offerings.
Providing support for our Application Programming Interface (API) connections.
Customer account and end user set-ups.
Handling of customer complaints.
Trade research & resolution.
Actioning internal change requests, as relates to production systems.
Investigating trade and technical issues on behalf of clients and banks/brokers. Actioning change requests on behalf of clients and banks.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Basic understanding of financial markets (minimum of 2 years related experience)
A background in Foreign Exchange and/or FX trading
Ideally you will have experience with FX trading systems and have some knowledge of operating systems such as Windows, Linux or Unix with some scripting experience as beneficial
Strong team player mentality
Superior organizational and retention skills, telephone etiquette and listening skills
Eagerness to learn new products and technology - this includes our own proprietary trading software as well as common market protocols such as FIX, SWIFT, etc.
