Asia and Emerging Markets Equity Strategy
An exciting opportunity exists for a Research Associate to join our top-ranked Asia and Emerging Markets Equity Strategy Research team. Our team is responsible for setting the firm's recommendations on overall equity market direction, identifying catalysts and risks and preferred themes, regions, sectors and stocks.
The Regional Equity Strategy Associate will operate existing models and frameworks and take on new research projects, analyzing and interpreting data, preparing charts, writing research reports and engaging with internal and external clients.
Based in Singapore, this role will entail collaboration with Morgan Stanley's global team of analysts, strategists and economists to identify investment themes and opportunities. Support will be provided by data analysts within the team and successful candidate will look to partner with our local strategists and regional quantitative and sustainability teams to generate deeper insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating and further developing the team's frameworks for market and sector valuations and investment recommendations
Keeping abreast of global growth and policy trends and investment market debates, identifying inflexion points and surprises versus consensus and Morgan Stanley research views
Developing new frameworks and writing reports with a regional thematic, market or sector specific focus
Responding to requests for data and information from internal and external clients
Liaising with counterparts across global economics, strategy as well as fundamental stock/sector research analysts
Assisting in the design and preparation of investor meeting strategy and materials
