Job Description

Our Advanced Technology team is looking for a Manager, Global Product Standards and Regulations. This is a key hire for both Advanced Technology and the entire organization and has an impact on the whole industry, not just Rockwell Automation. In short, this person is responsible for directing Rockwell Automation's involvement in standards and regulatory activities.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Develops and directs corporate engagement strategy based on needs identified in strategic imperatives, business strategy review, tech roadmaps and assessment of the international standards landscape.
• Manages a team of direct and matrixed subject matter experts to track and engage in standards and regulatory activities.
• Tracks potential blocking issues and reports to senior management team as needed.
• Manages issue response teams as needed.
• Manages budget for participation in organization involvements.
• Oversees interdepartmental activities and standards efforts.
• Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Preferred Qualifications

• Typically requires 8+ years of related experience.
• Knowledge of the Industrial Automation Industry
• Expert or leadership roles in international standards organizations, such as IEC, IEEE, ISO
• Strong communications skills and an ability to communicate with a variety of audiences, technical experts, business leaders and senior management.
• Ability to prioritize and simply complex issues clearly.
• Able to collaborate and manage conflict and drive resolution of issues across organizational boundaries.
