As a QA Tester you're at the centre of innovation at DWP. When we try something new, you tell us if it works, spot defects and resolve issues.
You'll use your skills in defect and issue identification and resolution to assure services that millions of UK citizens rely on.
You'll be developing reusable test collateral and services that improve the efficiency of future of functional and manual testing in DWP.
You will also have the opportunity to expand your knowledge, becoming part of an established network of software development and test professionals, and a wider DWP Digital community.
You'll have opportunities for formal learning to build your skills, and also to work with abnd learn from multidisciplinary experts across a range or projects and the whole software development life cycle.
What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?
Functional testing of legacy application using Oracle Databases running on Red Hat Linux. Outlining your approach test estimation preparation, execution and defect management.
Manual test execution using industry standard best practice.
