OPPORTUNITY WITH THE GOE DIVISION Given GOE's position at the forefront of change within the bank, you will have the opportunity to work on the most important initiatives across OCBC. The work is project-based and broad ranging, spanning across divisions and geographies. As an AVP4/VP3, you will work closely with the seniors within the division owning key analyses/workstreams of a project. Depending on the nature of the project, you may also get the opportunity to lead a project on your own.
As a Project Management Lead, you will support the Group Head, to match talent supply with project demand, track status of project deliverables and milestones, track and review project financials and potential operating margins, assist in preparations of reports and dashboards at regional level, and maintain healthy resource modelling.
You will also support the Group Head to manage division's risk and compliance initiatives and financial planning. We are focused on growing talent. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES ??? Own given analysis/workstreams/projects which typically involves aligning objectives, planning and conducting analysis, synthesizing conclusions, and making recommendations to achieve project outcomes ??? Represent GOE in project discussions ??? Formulate own point of view and contribute to team discussions ??? Support/co-drive GOE initiatives (e.g. peer sharing within GOE and across OCBC) ??? Support Group Head in project management, resource planning and reporting to ensure healthy resource against committed projects ??? Support Group Head in risk and compliance initiatives and financial management
Qualifications DESIRED PROFILE At present, we are looking for an individual with strong project management office experience as well as project delivery experience to complement our existing team. The candidate should offer good financial services knowledge with a 'consulting toolkit'. The candidate must have at least 2 years of project management office experience and 3 years of consulting experience with a reputable firm and/or transformation division of leading financial institutions.
In an ideal candidate, we look for: ??? Proven experience in project delivery in transformation area, with the ability to handle tight deadlines and deliver under pressure, and experience in PMO to ensure quality and standards are maintained across the region ??? Highly motivated and independent individual with outstanding academic credentials and professional accomplishments ??? Strong communication skills and report writing ??? Good knowledge of how financial services businesses work and latest trends (incl. digital) impacting the industry ??? Experience in risk management and financial planning will be an added advantage ??? Comfortable working in an unstructured, cross-division and multi-stakeholder environment
