About our client Our client is a leading life insurer.
They are looking for a Business Planning Principal, based in Hong Kong, to define strategy blueprints on segments and markets to unlock growth potential, including up-and-coming M&A projects.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders including Finance, Strategy, Transformation, Distribution, Marketing, Data Analytics, Customer Office, etc. to perform analytical work of business growth opportunities, including information gathering, report writing and feedback communication. You will also support the development of annual strategy plan, marketing plan and marketing budget.
Formulate strategy blueprints on segments and markets to unlock growth potential
Perform analytical work of business growth opportunities including information gathering, report writing and feedback communication
Support the development of annual strategy plan, marketing plan and marketing budget
Provide insights from research / analytics data to develop go-to-market business strategies
Handle the selection process of external consultants and coordinate with them on delivery of strategic projects
Monitor market data and develop market share analysis to understand our strengths and challenges; suggest actions to drive our business
Work collaboratively with the project team to ensure timeliness of deliverables
Monitor the results of projects after launched
Degree holder with a minimum 8 years of relevant strategy planning / corporate development experience. Experience in consultancy and/or insurance industry will be an advantage
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, being able to connect-the-dots
Result oriented, with proven track record in attaining business results
Be adaptable, able to interact and build strong relationships with people from a diverse range of backgrounds
Attentive to details with good analytical, coordination and organisational skills
Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese)
Excellent PowerPoint, Excel and report writing skills
A good story-teller, with strong presentation skills
