The Capital Planning Analyst is primarily responsible for developing, monitoring, maintaining budgets and forecasts for the universitys capital plan. Duties include maintaining an accurate accounting of project funding sources and expense forecasts, liaising with departments to obtain multi-year capital forecasts, and preparing reports/analyses/presentations for management. The capital analyst will also work closely with the Project Financial Administrator to obtain project budget and schedule updates to reconcile capital forecasts.
B.A./B.S. required. Five to eight years experience The tracking/reconciling figure is approximately $240 million. This position is not solely responsible for tracking this amount as the Assistant Director will be closely involved/review any executive reports. Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to write with clarity, speed. Competence in project and organizational budgeting as well as larger strategic and tactical thinking. Strong organizational skills and ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment as a self-starter and team member.
