The role is within the Retail Bank Segment Value Proposition Strategy Team, reporting to the Head of Segment Value Proposition. The role is responsible for the development and management of key programs and strategies to ensure compelling value proposition of the segment proposition across the wealth continuum. In Citi, this would be the Citigold segment that is catered to affluent clients with Asset Under Management (AUM) of S$250M to S$1.5MM, and Citigold Private Client segment catered to the high new worth clients with AUM S$1.5MM and above.
The Retail Segments & Svcs Sr Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the sub function/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.
Client segment strategy and management for key capabilities to drive client engagement and satisfaction, as well as development of new capabilities and solutions based on market demand
Partner with cross functional stakeholder groups including country and regional teams across Marketing, Product/ Advisory, Sales, Digital banking, Analytics teams to drive client-centric strategies and capabilities targeting retail clients across the wealth continuum
Conceptualize and ideate for an optimal client engagement and content journey to deliver best in class client engagement experience
Leverage on data, and client feedback and surveys, to guide and aid decision making
Collaborate and with control functions - Compliance, AML, Operational Risk to ensure all projects are duly approved and implemented
Develop training materials and organize training sessions to key touch points/ sales on the customer journey features and enhancements
Assembles a holistic picture of where our segment proposition offering is currently, how clients view it, how it compares to competition, and where it needs to go in the future
Drives action across the organization in order to achieve goals
Ensures a BAU operational model is in place
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
