Project Damselfly is executing the GCB Strategy Refresh announced in early 2021. Within the Central Team, the Transaction & Stranded Cost Director will manage the central team's support of the transactions as well as oversee the stranded cost program
Support the Separation & Restructuring Lead on 2 critical components of Damselfly Separation and go-forward model for APAC
Work closely with senior leadership in Global Functions and EO&T to identify actions necessary for separation and divestiture
Manage knowledge and information sharing platform (e.g., Confluence) to maintain connectivity across various working teams
Develop governance documents for Damselfly Central Team
Interface with different lines of businesses.
Independently develop stand-alone portions of executive documents.
Effectively communicate complex concepts to senior executive audiences.
Build relationships with and influence senior stakeholders on path forward.
Manage small teams, including productivity and business resources, to achieve results.
Structure and execute own workstream; anticipate issues and put in place mitigation strategies; see dependencies and connectivity across workstreams.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards
5+ years experience in a related role with extensive experience in business, functional and people management.
Deep experience with a broad swath of Citi, including Global Functions and Enterprise O&T
Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Bias for action; track record of driving parts of large scale transformations and/or implementation of high-impact initiatives.
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Ability to rationalize and work through organizational change.
Ability to influence and engage in a consultative mode with various senior stakeholders across business, operations, technology and compliance to define the strategic scope, a problem solving approach and engage a team that effectively will lead the reengineering process to achieve the envisioned results.
