Analyst Program Overview The three year intensive development program will give you exposure and insight into our Private Banking strategy, products and business groups. The Analyst Program is designed to develop the fundamental knowledge and skills in order for you to build a long term career within Private Banking. At the end of the three year program, top performing Analysts will have the opportunity to continue onto the next phase at the firm. Promotional opportunities within J.P. Morgan are based on our business needs and the Analyst's performance.
On joining the firm, you will participate in one of J.P. Morgan's world class training programs for 6-7 weeks with colleagues from all over the world. Throughout the three year program, you will receive structured training, hands-on learning opportunities, continuous mentoring and feedback, as well as numerous development opportunities, to enable you to advance toward your career goals. As you progress in your training, you will assume significant responsibility by interacting with senior management and working directly with clients.
As a Full Time Analyst in Private Banking, you will work with top-tier professionals to help the world's wealthiest individuals, families, foundations and endowments to grow, manage and sustain their wealth. You will work as part of an integrated team to deliver personalized and comprehensive financial solutions across every facet of wealth management to our clients. As an Analyst, you will be placed in one of the following roles on the Private Banking team:
Banker Analysts support Senior Bankers to oversee private client relationships by providing strategic advice based on each client's wealth objectives. They provide clients with access to specialists in wealth planning, capital advisory, corporate and investment banking, as well as investment solutions and portfolio management. Bankers are also involved in prospecting and acquiring new clients. Banker Analysts will become comfortable speaking about our entire range of products and services in investment management, brokerage, wealth advisory, and capital advisory.
Investor Analysts support a team of global investment specialists to provide advisory services and implementation of client investment needs. They are involved with managing complex client accounts through trade execution and performing transactions. Investor Analysts will become proficient in providing transaction advice and executing functions across a wide range of financial products.
Product / Solutions Analysts work with investment professionals who are dedicated to structuring creative and opportunistic investment ideas to meet clients' portfolio objectives. We have specialists responsible for developing our market strategy, alternative investments, fixed income, and equities, just to name a few. Product/Solutions Analysts will get involved with conducting research and analysis, using our proprietary models, assists with product development and portfolio construction.
Capital Advisor Analysts support the Capital Advisory team to develop credit solutions to assist clients in financing or extracting liquidity from single stock positions, properties, aircrafts and other illiquid assets. They will be responsible for deal structuring and execution and get involved with duties such as analysis, due diligence, preparing credit proposals, negotiate credit documentation and perform annual reviews.
Qualifications and Essential Experiences
Bachelor or Masters/Advanced degree graduates
Solid academic background with a minimum GPA of 3.2 or equivalent
Highly motivated with entrepreneurial drive
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Aptitude for sales and client relationship management
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of, and passion for, the financial markets
Strong initiative, energy and confidence
Good judgment and discretion, as Analysts work with highly confidential information
Fluency in Asian language/s and cultural knowledge (essential for placement in specific teams e.g. Mandarin, Cantonese, Bahasa, Malaysian etc.)
As a Full Time Investor Analyst in Private Banking investor's team, you will work with top-tier professionals to help the UHNW individuals, families, foundations and endowments to grow, manage and sustain their wealth.
You will work as part of an integrated team to deliver personalized and comprehensive financial solutions to our clients. You will support a team of global investment specialists to provide advisory services and implementation of client investment needs.
You will be expected to develop a thorough understanding of the private banking platform and take ownership of the process flows to ensure the success of the team. Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Preparing presentation materials, client reports
Performing portfolio evaluation and analysis
Conducting industry and product research
