Our client is a leading private equity firm, which is looking for a Funds Financial Planning and Analysis Manager. This is a rare, commercial and analytical opportunity where you'll work closely with the CFO, support the execution of deals and assist in structuring new funds.
You'll be expected to be creative in solving problems and will constantly be questioning the knock-on effect of transactions, housing SPVs, and what effect this will have on the fund today and in the future.
This role is a great opportunity for someone in a fund control role looking to take on a more commercial and analytical set of responsibilities. This will be a dynamic and fast paced position where every day will be slightly different due to ad-hoc tasks.
You'll need private equity fund experience and a strong technical acumen.
Preparing and reviewing materials such as reports and presentations for Stakeholders
Developing and maintaining existing processes to maximise efficiency
Collating forecast and budget data for management information
Reviewing Management fee and Carried interest calculations
Monitoring fund positions and fund liquidity, including analysis on specific LPA provisions
Ensuring other business areas are supported with Fund level information and analysis where required
Managing Ad-hoc projects such as Due Diligence and restructuring
Managing the workflow of Junior team members and ensuring a collaborative work culture with the funds finance team and the wider firm
Previous experience working with closed-ended fund structures, ideally PE
Minimum 2:1 degree or international equivalent
Relevant professional qualification, ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc.
Experience working with large sets of data
Experience of team management
Experience dealing with multiple deadlines, with high attention to detail and organisational skills
