Responsibilities About the role The VP of Regional Wealth Management Operations is responsible to drive and deliver the Wealth Management Operations (WMO) strategy and Target Operating Model across the different DBS locations. The incumbent will also be the Product Owner for the Operations Squad and responsible to develop the product vision, requirements and roadmap for Operations, in line with the WMO Target Operating Model. He or she will have to work with the Wealth Management Operations Heads from different locations to deliver the roadmap and results. Process and Risk Management
Collaborate with the location operations to review, identify and drive process automation and efficiency opportunities, as well as new initiatives and the Target Operating Model.
Assist the Head of Regional Wealth Management Operations to drive and implement the Target Operating Model for Wealth Management Operations as part of the T&O Operations Process & Performance Optimisation project
Assist the Head of RWMO to monitor the locations in adhering to all policies, processes and controls.
Drive discussions on risk and control issues to ensure gaps are reviewed for closure and share best practices across Locations.
Product Owner for Operations Squad
Develop and responsible for the product vision and roadmap of the Operations squad. Responsible in maximising the value of the product created by the squad
To review the UR submitted by the various locations and rationalise the benefit and value of the changes.
Prioritise the work for the squad and manages the backlog to ensure that work are delivered with high ROI.
Able to co-ordinate and manage various stakeholders (sponsor, customers, end users) to deliver the vision and roadmap
Able to lead the end to end Project/Program management and milestone management and ensure that projects are delivered on time, with quality and within budget.
Jointly conduct End User Training if required with the different locations
Degree Holder with 8 years of relevant project management experience in Wealth Management and Private Banking Operations
Hands-on experience with Avaloq System is required
A keen eye for control and ability to sieve out key issues and root causes in various circumstances
Strong control mindset, with an eye for details, ability to prepare/manage schedules to deliver under tight deadlines
Competent in project presentations, ability to present step-by-step action plans with visual software tools
Be able to communicate the analytical findings, both in writing and verbally
Decisive and solution focused, possess strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyse significant amount of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Agile Project management experience with demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams and independently, meet deadlines under pressure, and to prioritize tasks effectively
Self-motivated demonstrating growth mindset with quest for learning new skills and techniques
Experience in dashboarding tools like Tableau preferred with competency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
