Experience with Eagle products or other complex integrated systems is a plus but not required.The role is for a person willing to take on a diversified field of work in global FinTech Company. Responsibilities: â€¢ Investigate and troubleshoot issues in the Eagle Data Management product, providing timely solutions to client issues. â€¢ Troubleshoot process includes database research, running SQL statements, system log revision, understanding accounting concepts and correlation to meet clients expectations, recreating reports based on database fields according to clients settings, reviewing system parameters to find root cause of issue â€¢ Identify, test, recreate, resolve and/or escalate complex problems.- sometimes cross-functional approach is inevitable to provide solution. â€¢ Documenting issue resolutions. â€¢ Build solid strategic partnerships with Client Operations Managers and other departments within Eagle â€¢ Contribute to creating training materials, generating technical notes, and developing problem isolation tools â€¢ Publish or review technical documentation on advanced concepts, including development of content for knowledge base articles, white papers, troubleshooting guides â€¢ If necessary working with accounting, performance measurement and enterprise issues. â€¢ If requested - Participating in client calls or client meetings Requirements: â€¢ 5+ years of experience in fund accounting or data management, preferably in in a client support role â€¢ At least a basic understanding of Fund Accounting and Performance Measurement â€¢ Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and mathematical skills â€¢ Proven ability to define problems, analyze and resolve complex issues â€¢ Strong critical and strategic thinking skills â€¢ Ability to balance multiple priorities and shift priorities as needed â€¢ Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines and objectives. â€¢ Ability to solve problems independently and with positive, can-do attitude â€¢ Proactivity and eagerness to learn complex product â€¢ Experience with relational databases, SQL is a plus Qualifications MODIFIED BASED UPON LOCAL REGULATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree is beneficial. 6-8 years of diverse experience in information technology required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus BNY Mellon is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
