The Spectrum Delivery and Business Intelligence team create solutions that help support 'data driven' decisions allowing us to help grow the business and improve the client experience. We partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Client Service and Finance.
Spectrum Delivery and Business Intelligence is seeking a Product/Project Manager Team Lead to build solutions that support 'data driven' decisions. Although having a strong focus on the APAC region, the candidate will work with a global team in US & EMEA to develop solutions.
The products managed in this role cover internal and external clients and understanding our client's needs is an instrumental aspect of the role. Other major aspects of the role will be to identify and understand the needs of our stakeholders, generate product requirements, and execute through partnership with local and global stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate extensive knowledge of digital product management, project management with experience in driving adoption of technology. In addition, the Candidate is expected to have outstanding problem-solving skills, communication skills, a curious mindset, and underlying passion for digital.
Coach and motivate talent; provide career development planning
Represent the team and report team duties/issues in local and regional forums
Develop product strategy and roadmap and build support across the organization
Integrate client feedback, data analytics, product metrics, user experience research, and company goals to drive prioritization of product initiatives
Provide clear vision and scope documentation, personas/use cases, workflows, product requirements, and other materials as needed to facilitate UX design and development
Partner closely with global stakeholders to execute the roadmap and drive product initiatives, while meeting critical deadlines and budget constraints
Manage and prioritize feature backlog, with a mind towards benefits and tradeoffs
Set and manage team and stakeholder expectations through effective written and oral communication
Drive planning, execution and go to market strategies for new releases
Build and present end-to-end executive product updates inclusive of production metrics, new feature delivery planning and financial forecasting
Good understanding of Investment Management Business, Mutual Funds, Managed Accounts, and/or Separate Accounts preferable
Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities/workflows
Proven ability to quickly learn the business, the application and adapt to ever changing priorities
Can do attitude to take on new challenges and succeed
Ability to explain complex ideas and methods to business partners is essential
Strong attention to detail is critical
Self-motivated, team player with strong work ethic
Must be a strong problem solver and effective communicator with a curious mindset and underlying passion for digital
Previous product/project management or related experience required, with proven track record of delivery
Ability to define and execute product roadmap and business models
Ability to prioritize projects and efforts considering many variables including business and client needs, competitive and industry trends, resource and funding availability, and internal trade-offs
Ability to partner with cross-functional teams at all levels for effective execution in an agile manner
Ability to manage tight delivery timelines and execute under pressure
Strong commitment to professional responsibilities, a degree of self-motivation suitable for a "start-up" team, and superior work ethic with adaptability to push beyond standard hours during busy periods to meet tight deadlines
