A unique opportunity has arisen with a $10bn Real Estate Asset Manager to join as a Managing Director and lead the European business development for this growing US based firm. The firm have a diverse product range including both real estate debt and real estate equity, including niche strategies such as grocery with investments made both in North America and in Europe.
The fund raising to date has been in North America but due to the firms success over the last 5 years, there are ambitious plans to expand the London office and bring in their first European fundraiser. This is a very senior position within the business and is a critical hire for the firm to successfully expand into the European space.
Implement and execute a European fund raising strategy to raise capital into the firms real estate challenges.
Client coverage includes institutions, intermediaries and wholesale
Manage the relationships with European clients and provide an in depth understanding of the real estate market to the wider London team.
Liaise regularly with the senior management in North America and update them regularly on progress and strategy.
c.7+ years of experience in real estate capital raising / business development.
Extensive network of European Institutional clients.
In depth understanding of real estate strategies.
Able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
