Job Description You will be a leader in design, implementation and monitoring of the group Financial Crime Risk Framework, including the AML/CTF Program and the Fraud and Corruption Policy.

This role will work to support the banking business, but responsibilities may also extend to the broader Group.
You will be responsible for providing in depth technical knowledge and expertise in relation to the Financial Crime compliance requirements driven from local legislation and Group Policy requirements, covering regulatory areas of AML/CTF, Sanctions, Fraud and AB&C.
Support on the execution of framework and policy strategy and activities, ensuring compliance with obligations and a robust risk and control framework is designed effectively and operating.
Providing expertise and support to the business in the design and implementation of transaction monitoring and fraud controls (including in relation to the new banking business, development of online/digital capability and other strategic business initiatives)
Assist with the input and completion of required reports to Boards, Committees, Group, Management and Business Units as required.
Providing advice and guidance to the business on obligations in relation to AML/CTF, Sanctions, FATCA/CRS, and providing guidance on fraud and corruption risks and recommending appropriate control measures
Provide input and guidance to Group Policies and standards as well as undertaking gap analysis with the business when updates to new policies and standards are issued, including review of the local AML/CTF Program.
Evaluating emerging trends, procedures & methodologies in relation to financial crime, including identifying and leading regulatory change implementation
Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver objectives of meeting obligations and managing compliance risks within risk appetite.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
To be successful in this role you will have:
8+ years demonstrated risk management experience in banking or broader financial services in a risk role, preferably related to Financial Crime Compliance
Experience in writing and delivering technical training to non-technical audiences
Ability to partner with stakeholders to influence and negotiate business outcomes and build strong relationships
