The Margin Department is an integral part of the operations for Pershing. We work collaboratively with the operations teams of our clients and departments with Pershing to monitor, report and ensure regulatory compliance in investor accounts. Responsibilities: In this role, you will develop deep relationships with operational teams and our clients. You'll be trained to become deeply knowledgeable on the regulatory rules and Pershing policies that govern our clients' activities, and the steps we perform in Margin to help our firm, clients and investors remain compliant. These responsibilities include: investor account monitoring and reporting; identifying risk and exposure for escalation; and issuing and following up on margin calls, cash account delinquencies and technical short securities. Preferred Requirements: Looking for a candidate with a high school diploma, (equivalent or higher), 3 years work experience in Margin Department operations and some brokerage back office operations experience; someone who enjoys collaborating, problem solving, and understands basic accounting principles is desirable. Qualifications High school/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Bachelors degree preferred. 5-7 years of total work experience preferred. Experience in brokerage processing preferred. Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
