Work with Retail Marketing Head and Retail stakeholders to developing comprehensive calendar of always-on client engagement events
Collaborate with stakeholders, including agency partners, to curate events on Wealth Management and Lifestyle-orientated topics under the 'There's More to Wealth' thematic
Oversee event management partners on event logistics and execution
Align with Marketing and Retail stakeholders on marketing campaign to support events
Ensure events are aligned to current wealth and lifestyle interests to ultimately foster stronger relationships interaction, stickiness and drive strong word-of-mouth among Citigold and Citigold Private Clients
Procure strategic partnerships that enable longer term efficiencies and value-add opportunities
Explore earned media and PR opportunities around events, including engaging Citi management, staff and even Influencers/Key-opinion-leaders to further amplify the events
Ensure capture learnings and client feedback through events, in order to elevate future client engagement activities
Working intimately with the media agency to define target audience segments and media strategies that maximize impact of online content and acquisition activities
Prioritize products and target segments relative to revenue incremental opportunity
Lead development of communication strategy, positioning and best-in-class creative for online content
Identify opportunities to test, optimize and scale up successful marketing initiatives
Work with Regional Digital Sales & Marketing counterparts to ensure alignment on priorities and market execution of Regionally-steered initiatives and best practice
Share success and learnings across markets
Manage third party media and creative agencies to execute and deliver best in class marketing programs
Keep abreast of new and emerging marketing resources and techniques that would be relevant for our business, vet them and test as appropriate
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards
Lead by influencing data-driven Marketers to seamlessly deliver on the above initiatives, holding stakeholders accountable to achieve business outcomes and continually celebrate successes across the business.
12-16 years in Marketing or a relevant marketing communications agency, with deep experience in digital marketing
Team player; ability to partner and negotiate with cross-functional team to successfully deliver client needs
Track record of delivering meaningful marketing programs that drive business success
Prior experience leading a team is preferred, as is the ability to motivate and rally a team around a common vision
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Promotes a culture of teamwork across organizational boundaries
Demonstrated sense of accountability and decisiveness
Ability to successfully interact with various levels within an organization, including Senior Management
Intellectually curious, proactively seeking and developing new opportunities
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
A passion for content and the fast-paced nature of events management
Curiosity about human psychology, behaviors and motivations
Strong analytical skills
Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
