We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as Senior Business Continuity and Incident Management Manager, Asia Pacific.Â This is a role in Business Continuity & Incident Management that supports the Asia Pacific Business Continuity & Incident Management function.
The Senior BCIM manager will support the Businesses and Functions to develop and continuously improve their business continuity capability for the Asia Pacific region. They will support Wholesale Private Banking, Commercial Banking, Wholesale Banking and Functions to define strategic objectives for their BCM programme, reflecting management, customer (internal and external) and regulatory requirements and risk profile.
Act as a Subject Matter expert for the relevant Business or Function, supporting them to meet their control requirements as set out in the BCM Policy and Procedures. Support management and the BCM programme by sharing risk items, audit and regulator feedback, and other threats to business continuity observed internally and in the wider operating environment.
Develop and maintain a good working relationship with the senior management, business continuity coordinators and other staff of the designated Business and Function areas as well as with audit and regulators.
Develop and maintain good relationships with the country BCIM managers to understand country risk profile and regulatory requirements.
Prepare reporting to Business and Functions on Control monitoring, risk management papers and other internal and external reporting.
Prepare and deliver training in business continuity and incident management for senior management, business recovery coordinators and other members of staff and ensure that Business or Function requirements are appropriately communicated.
Ensure that all designated Business and Function areas have effective procedures for escalating Major Incidents to the appropriate Incident Management Team.
Provide secretariat to support the Bank Major Incident Response, and communicate incidents within the Business or Function.
Provide guidance to Business or Function Third Party Engagement Managers (TPEMs) on the assessment and management of business continuity risk in relation to vendors.
Business Continuity and Incident Management experience at a financial institution
High degree of self motivation, creativity, initiative, enthusiasm, tenacity and attention to detailÂ
Sound analysis, judgment and decision making skills
Strong EnglishÂ writing and presentation skills
Ability to work on own and manage priorities
Ability to work effectively under pressure
Good interpersonal skill
Articulate and able to communicate at all levels
Good working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products especially Excel and SharePoint
IT and project management knowle dge preferable
