As an integral member of the Legal and Compliance team you will be working together with the Pan-EU pensions business to :
Analyse applicable regulations in various EU states regarding the provision and distribution of occupational (pillar2) pensions
Analyse applicable laws and assist in the establishment of a comprehensive register of relevant legislations
Research the provision and basis of pension and ancillary benefits in EU member states
Assist in the development of a register detailing the basis of typical benefit provision in relevant countries to help us build our knowledge across Europe
Monitoring daily publications for forthcoming changes in legislation, new market practices and understanding industry wide approach on different topics
Support EU Public policy initiatives with a focus on promoting Fidelity's retirement agenda to influence policymakers and the legislature ensure. This involves reviewing and collating comments on consultation papers and drafting positioning statements for use by senior management at regulatory forums and client meetings
In particular, you will learn analytical and drafting skills and will become familiar with Fidelity's retirement business and EU footprint. We do not expect you to come straight in and know everything about what we do. As an intern/working student, we will help make sure that you get the most out of your time with us.
