We're looking for a Senior Solution Architect to join DWP Digital's growing community of experts.
You'll work on our People Services team. We're currently focused on DWP's Reimagine programme, where we're bringing together the human resource and financial management systems, to create a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform.
This ERP will transform the colleague experience right across DWP and modernise our people services. Providing simplified processes and modern technology supports our vision in DWP; we want to be flexible, inclusive and continuously learning.
To help us deliver against this challenge, we want an Architect with specialist functional knowledge and experience of ERP applications. You should also have experience supporting the integration and migration activity that will be required to introduce a SaaS ERP solution into DWP.

It's your job to design the technical solutions needed to deliver a new ERP platform for the UK's largest government department. The ERP will need to meet the needs of around 110,000 DWP colleagues and agents.
You will use a blend of technical and behavioural skills to land solution design with a range of stakeholders. You are a champion of solution communication and make the complex simple to understand.
You'll collaborate with engineers, designers, researchers and other architects as part of our agile, multidisciplinary Reimagine teams. You'll also represent us, our roadmaps and product designs, at governance forums so that the right designs and decisions get approval.
The delivery of a new ERP presents particular challenges, especially in an organisation of our scale and complexity. You'll have a central and leading role in making that happen for DWP. If you think you have what it takes, we'd love to hear from you.
What skills and experience are we looking for?
Architecture design and modelling techniques, patterns, tools and standards.
Experience in delivering large scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions
Knowledge of ERP, HCM Core processes including Payroll, Expenses, Performance Management, Time and Absence
Public cloud technologies, cloud hosting, container, and networking design patterns, tools and best practice (e.g. Amazon Web Services).
Event-based architecture design, patterns (including pub-sub and data streaming), modelling techniques, tools and standards.
