Designing, building and implementing changes to the applications in the Payments Messaging Platform, where ISO20022 related changes are required.
Partnering closely with Analysts, other Engineers, support staff, Release lead and Product Owners to understand the requirements, ensuring the delivery of work meets customer expectations
Attending stand-ups to progress your work and align with your team
Planning release windows with the rest of the teams and the overall release lifecycle.
Keeping abreast and upskilling in any related ISO20022 changes and industry requirements.
Communicating the above to relevant teams and stakeholders
Measuring and monitoring progress towards release dates, managing risks and issues that may affect release scope and or delivery dates
About You What will likely be in your toolkit? Strong design and build experience within messaging applications like Alliance Messaging Hub (AMH) or SWIFT Alliance Access (SAA) or similar messaging products
In-depth knowledge of messaging standards such as SWIFT MT and ISO20022, with hands-on mapping and transformation experience between these standards
Practical experience in mapping and translation of messages between messages standards such as MT and ISO20022
Practical experience with java, RegEx, scheduler, scripting/shell programming, Oracle, Linux, UI development and understanding of application infrastructure (networks, application servers, databases, integration)
Pratical experience in stitching messages where truncation was required
Experience with development tools such as bit bucket, uDeploy, Bamboo, Artifactory, Tosca
Agile delivery experience such as Scrum, Kanban and Feature Driven Development, using collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
