Our client, an established private markets placement agent, is looking to hire an experienced fundraiser to join their high-calibre and international team.
The candidate will be responsible for building relationships with institutional investors to further the team's distribution efforts. This role involves considerable verbal and written communication capabilities, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage junior professionals. It is a varied role within a stimulating environment that would suit an all-rounder who is both technically minded, commercial, and also a confident relationship builder with senior stakeholders and institutional investors.
Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors across Europe and/or the Middle East
Identifying and proactively approach prospective investors in your specific geographical region
Proactively market all of the firm's strategies and solutions to the appropriate investors in the region
Working with internal teams to coordinate the capital raising process
Reviewing investor communications and managing key deliverables
Background in private equity working at a placement agent or in in-house investor relations team
Experience raising capital from institutional investors
Financially literate, faultless written and verbal English language skills
Strong communicator, able to confidently manage relationships with senior professionals internally and externally
