As a Barclays Learning and Development Manager, you will be working with Barclays Internal Audit (BIA) Professional Practices & Learning (PPL) team who are responsible for delivering strategic work streams for the delivery of the BIA three year organizational objectives. What will you be doing? â€¢ Leading facilitation, program management and evaluation of grade-aligned pathways (Analyst-Director) in the US and work with PPL team reviewing Progression tool data â€¢ Managing US technical training plan, including training needs analysis, sourcing internal learning interventions and organize delivery of interventions and evaluation effectiveness â€¢ Facilitating and evaluating use of Insights Discovery programs into US by identifying tools to be used to develop capabilities across teams and develop audit delivery skills â€¢ Facilitating and evaluating use of BIA's Deeper Self Awareness module with audit leaders and share practice with leadership teams in the US region â€¢ Program managing the Faculty Development Program (FDP) to maintain the pool of internal coaches in US while evaluating effectiveness and sharing with PPL team â€¢ Facilitating and evaluating use of team development days in US region and sharing learning with PPL lead â€¢ Facilitating career development workshops to support career pathways of all colleagues in US region â€¢ Leading and managing regional Early Careers programs, including summer internship and graduate programs to develop BIA's talent pipeline
What we're looking for: â€¢ Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of services â€¢ Relevant experience in Risk and Control as well as passion for Learning or Development â€¢ Confidently operate as a team member and be able to work collaboratively with all colleagues in-person and virtually â€¢ Excellent verbal and writing skills and competent to present ideas and recommendations to others and facilitate learning content in a formal and informal environment
Skills that will help you in the role: â€¢ Good organizational skills and attention to detail with a commitment to develop others â€¢ Proven track record of internal audit or Human Resource experience â€¢ Proficient understanding of data analytics to identify how learning could be delivered more effectively and report using data analytics
Where will you be working? You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 37-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
