Coordinate client facing processes, such as output, statements, proxy solicitation, and tax preparation and filing compliance (including monitoring tax policies/changes), across products (mutual fund and Ameriprise Trust Company). Gather data from multiple sources and across various internal and external business teams, evaluate and determine if the data is accurate, and then produce the final deliverable. Accountable for issue identification, root cause analysis and recommending and executing viable solutions, and supporting Product & Regulatory changes/initiatives.
Perform assigned daily and periodic output processes in accordance with established procedures, practices and policies. Gather, review and accurately perform assigned responsibilities meeting or exceeding established timelines, accuracy levels and other service level goals and benchmarks.
Accurately perform year-end tax functions meeting or exceeding established timelines, accuracy levels and other service level goals and benchmarks in accordance with established procedures, practices and policies. Includes preparing and filing federal and state tax returns, coordinating posting of updated tax resources to website, and processing tax form corrections.
Provide coordination across various business and operations teams to ensure alignment and readiness for client facing events such as Product or Regulatory changes and projects. Provide subject matter expertise, effectively communicating across multiple audiences. Developed understanding of impacted up-stream and down-stream processes.
Accountable for proactive identification of issues, developing well thought out and viable solutions that are in line with our core competencies, and established processes. Understand impacts of executing solutions and provide appropriate escalation when clients expectations are at risk or cannot be met. Obtain appropriate approvals and alignment from stakeholders and leaders for exception processes.
Assist Output and Tax Manager in performing functions in support of Proxy solicitation events, which includes adhoc reporting request to gather record date share totals, support of on-demand requests, oversight of vendor and proxy approvals, and compliance with internal audit controls.
