As a Barclays Macro (FX & Rates) Salesperson, you'll be part of a dynamic Sales team in Singapore that delivers Barclays' global and regional FX and Rates content, views, product offerings and services to its client franchise in Southeast Asia, which includes institutional clients, such as sovereign wealth funds, central banks & regional banks. You will have the opportunity to develop specialized skillsets and product knowledge in the relevant markets via both structured and on-the-job training.

What will you be doing?
Distribute timely and relevant macro related market updates and views to the various client segments based on in-house research, traders' views and other relevant sources
Work together with trading and structuring teams to identify and structure trading and investment ideas and to communicate and distribute those to the client franchise
Price and execute the various FX and Rates instruments offered by Barclays, and ensure trades are booked correctly and settled in a timely basis
Ensure trades are done is a proper manner with the relevant product and credit lines properly setup and clients are properly on-boarded in accordance to relevant regulations
Escalate and report any risk related events in a timely fashion to the team lead and/ or senior management
What are we looking for?
Demonstrable working knowledge of FX/ Rates cash and derivative products, including interest rate swaps, cross currency swaps, FX/ Rates options, and asset swaps
Good working knowledge in DM/ EM sovereign; supranational and agency bonds is also essential
Deep understanding of the main drivers of key macro markets, and ability to engage clients on macro content and ideas exploration
Proven track record in managing client relationships across various types of financial institutions and at various seniority levels
