Our client, a multi-generational Family Office led by a talented entrepreneur and investor, has built an impressive range of portfolio companies across Europe. The team is looking for an energic and entrepreneurial Associate to drive the transformation and restructuring of a key portfolio company, based in Munich. In this role you will work closely with the Family Office and Senior Management Leadership team to develop and execute strategic plans, processes & controls. This is a great opportunity to take on significant responsibility and exposure from day one with huge scope for development into wider roles across the group medium term. Support the Family Office in rolling out best-in-class management practises, maximising portfolio synergies and bringing efficiency & rigour to reporting and interactions
Support senior management with materials & analysis, idea generation and execution
Establish tasks and responsibilities with key deliverables, including monitoring and reporting on project progression
Run specific project management office tasks as part of a broader transformation programme
Bring energy, enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit to the organisation and play a key role in the transformation programme
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
Professional work experience, gained ideally from a strategy consultancy firm or investment bank
Proven analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative), problem solving ability, meticulous attention to detail
Aptitude for building relationships and ability to communicate complex issues to a wide array of stakeholders with differing levels of product experience
Self-motivated and proactive team player, who takes ownership and accountability of projects, has strong organizational skills as well as the ability to effectively manage competing priorities
Fluent German and English; based in Munich but willing to travel
