SC Ventures ("SCV") was established in March of 2018 with the purpose of "Rewiring the DNA in Banking" by bringing three distinct areas together: The eXellerator labs, enabling innovation at large in the Bank by supporting:
Entrepreneurially-minded colleagues as "Intrapreneurs", developing ideas to products, services or new business models.
Collaboration with fintech companies, supported by the SC Ventures FintechBridge, Proof of Concept ("POC") framework and POC funding.
Client engagement on co-creation activities. The Innovation Investment Fund ("Fund"), USD100m allocated to acquire minority stakes in fintech companies ("fintechs") whose technology has been successfully validated in the Group and is progressing to production (i.e., continuing use), subject to commercial due diligence. Venture building, exploring new business models ("ventures"), with the objective of providing 'optionality' for the Group in the way it engages existing and new customers and markets. These adopt a start-up model, operating independently of the Group's existing businesses, funded in a venture capital fashion, and under a different governance and risk management framework. There are c.65 team members (excluding individual ventures), including dedicated colleagues from the Group's support functions, based in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Nairobi, London and San Francisco. Accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, leads, that deliver sales and customer retention.
Deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives at the lowest possible cost
This role requires a brand publisher min dset write and develop content/human stories to overcome users' emotional resistance to use Autumn (Content includes articles, videos, infographics)
Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement.
Development of editorial governance so content is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone and also aligned back to the value proposition
Channel management of digital content and all supporting social channels including email / newsletter distribution. This person must understand the basic best practices of the main social media channels, which content and approaches work on each and why
Measurement and optimization of the program will be required on a regular and ongoing basis
Manage and grow social community. And engage with online community and respond to comments and requests in a timely manner
Analyse web traffic, monitor positive/negative comments and topic trends and strive to boost engagement on social platform to improve Autumn value proposition or user experience
Foster and strengthen new relationships with key influencers within the community
Generate comprehensive reports on overall community sentiment and notable trends and provide meaningful feedback Requirements
6 years relevant working experience in startups or creative agencies
Demonstrate strong ability to write stories that connects
Experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience
Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
Ability to analyze and present content and social performance
Experience with wordpress, Google analytics, and the top social channels
Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads and conversions
