The Cross CCB Insights team is 1 of 9 area products that sit within the broader Finance, Data & Insights (FDI) product.
The overall product objectives include: 1) constructing a data environment that enables cross-business, customer-centric decision making and reporting needs across CCB in a consistent framework; 2) creating an ecosystem of dashboards, sourced from authoritative data sources, to replace all manual management reporting and to allow analytical resources to focus on generating actionable insights; 3) eliminating user tools, saving time, and increasing ability to generate insights through CARI, Dashboards, and developing new capabilities; and 4) developing a data infrastructure and suite of dashboards to support the firm's ongoing reporting on its Impact metrics including Path Forward Commitments (internal/external), Global D&I, and Corporate Responsibility.
The Cross CCB Insights team primarily delivers cross-business data and dashboard solutions for P&A/executive management, risk, headcount, and expense reporting. The team also develops analytical dashboards to support other key areas, such as macroeconomics and priorities within CCB Strategy. In this role, the candidate will be primarily responsible for end-to-end preparation of data and development of dashboards in Tableau for expense and headcount. The candidate's work will support analysis delivered to the highest levels of senior management, including the CCB leadership team and Operating Committee.
Support and manage expense/headcount focused BI reporting and dashboards on the portal. Drive the set up and production of dashboards
Drive innovation with stakeholders during agile development sessions to create and improve dashboards leveraging newly on-boarded data sources
Query data and merge information from diverse data sources to create rich datasets that enable better decision-making
Analyze data using tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, SQL and SAS to develop and automate reports or analysis that lead to actionable business insights
Support ongoing development of the CCB Insights platform by partnering with business to identify needs, define new data sets, technical testing and launch support including training of new users
Drive automation of new and existing processes
Provide recommendations for testing new and emerging technology
Support ongoing technology evaluation process and proof of concept projects
Minimum of 5 years experience working with data delivery projects, preferably related to customer or marketing analytics or in the financial services domain
Minimum 3 years experience developing advanced data visualization and presentations preferably with Tableau
Experience with business intelligence analytic and data wrangling tools such as Alteryx, Xceptor, R, SAS, or Python
Experience with business intelligence dashboarding tools such as PowerBI, Qlik or Business Objects
Experience with relational databases optimizing SQL to pull and summarize large datasets, report creation and ad-hoc analyses
Knowledge of modern MPP databases and big-data (Hadoop) concepts
Experience with Hive, Spark SQL, Impala or other big-data query tools
Experience in reporting development and testing, and ability to interpret unstructured data and draw objective inferences given known limitations of the data
Demonstrated ability to think beyond raw data and to understand the underlying business context and sense business opportunities hidden in data
Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and partners from a variety of business functions
Self-starter who can provide thought leadership and drive results in a dynamic and fast evolving environment
