This role is principally responsible for the execution and delivery of corporate trust and agency services around capital market and structured finance transactions, with additional opportunities to support new business and platform development initiatives for the Agency & Trust business.
It provides great exposure to professionals across the corporate trust, loan agency, issuer services or related industry sectors who are motivated to develop new business platform and relationship as well as to utilize their execution and delivery experience in agency and trust products.
(I) Product and Business Development
Assist with the development and implementation of product program and business plans
Assist with the development and ongoing enhancement of product materials, procedures and guidelines for Agency and Trust products
Establish internal and external business relationships to advocate Agency and Trust products
(II) Collaboration & Execution
Liaise with clients, deal parties as well as stakeholders such as Relationship Managers, Legal & Compliance, Operations, Clearing Systems to perform review of transaction documentation and deal mechanics from Agency and Trust's perspective
Work closely with clients and deal parties to facilitate seamless transaction execution and closing in Agency and Trust's capacities
Coordinate transaction implementation to ensure client and transaction requirements are fully delivered
(III) Post-closing Transaction Services Delivery
Manage all aspects of assigned transactions and client portfolio in a manner that complies with transaction documentation, legal and regulatory requirements as well as internal control policies and procedures to ensure superior client and delivery experience
Perform monitoring of covenants compliance as per transaction documentation, and undertake periodic review of transactions and accounts
Assist in developing and enhancing our client experience
Degree holder in Law, Economics, Finance or related disciplines
At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in related areas ideally in corporate trust, agency or capital markets
Working knowledge of key capital market instruments and transaction structure such as Eurobond, structured finance, syndicated loans, escrow, equity, securities fund, and other investment products
Motivated and enthusiastic working-attitude and team-spirit
Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
